I was trying to discuss this in class, but I don't think I was conveying my point clear enough.
There are a lot of times that one will claim is not art, because of what it's on. If it's on a piece of merchandise, all of a sudden it's not art it's just a commercial piece of crap. I feel like this tattoo, even though on a person's body and paid for, should qualify as art.
