What is art? I'm not quite sure. It's subjective. But has objective principles that can be used to evaluate it's quality. It may or may not be reliant on the artist. It may or may not be reliant on the audience. It may elicit an emotion, many emotions, or no emotion. Some art relies on the idea of the existence of the first or original. Some art occurs in nature. Some art becomes art through mass reproduction. Some art takes immense skill. Some art is created by accident. Some art is a combination of both. So far, it seems that art is quite paradoxical and not easily defined. However, the one facet about art that I believe to be true is that it tells a story. All art tell a story, even if it is the story of nothing.
