I found this really cool website of artists that use trash and recycled materials as their medium. http://weburbanist.com/2008/06/04/recycled-art-from-trash/. I recommend not only looking at the first page but checking out the next page as well by following the link at the bottom titled, 'Next: More Amazing Trash Art.' Out of all the artwork, I found the work of Tom Deininger to be my favorite. I never would have thought of using 3-D pieces of trash to create a seemingly 2-D 'painting.' Also, he's from RI! The pictures above are by Tom Deininger.
